Friendly and attentive staff, quiet environment and 207 modern rooms emphasize the link between the city and the hotel through a series of black-and-white photos of Ljubljana that create a truly urban atmosphere. Close the doors to your room, relax your senses and allow yourself to rest after a whole day spent exploring cultural landmarks, coffee shops and entertainment of the exciting night-time experiences.

Regardless of the event size, our friendly staff and bright, fully equipped conference rooms will make sure each event is truly special. The City conference centre’s four rooms can host four different events with 10 to 50 participants at the same time. By removing the partitions, we can join smaller halls to create a larger one and offer a reception area for up to 200 participants.

All halls get daylight, have high ceilings, are sound-proof and air-conditioned. Brand new hardwood flooring has been completed in 2023.

In addition to the conference centre on the ground floor, we can also organize meetings and social events in our green summer terrace that is situated on the 1st floor and boasts a stunning Ljubljana castle view.

At City Hotel Ljubljana, we are firmly committed to a sustainable business strategy based on a respectful attitude towards the environment, our employees and the community. 

We are located in the city centre, so the green summer terrace, where we serve hotel breakfast, daily lunches and organize events in the warmer months, also contributes to our sustainable development. It is filled with medium-sized trees that offer pleasant shade during summer. Children enjoy the strawberries and raspberries that grow on it, and chefs come from our kitchen daily to collect fresh herbs. In addition to satisfied guests, birds and extremely important pollinators (bees) are among the terrace’s frequent visitors.
