Sofia Tourism Administration fulfils all municipal activities relating to tourist establishments on the territory of Sofia Municipality in regulation with the Bulgarian Tourism Act. It supports the government structures in the implementation of tourism policies on the territory of Sofia, presents Sofia as a tourist destination within the country and abroad, contributes to the promotion of the tourism product of Sofia Municipality and owns the official tourist web portal of Sofia. With the establishment of tourist information centres and points in the city, Sofia Tourism Administration provides tourists with information and free print materials.

The mission of the Bulgarian Convention Bureau is the development of the convention and meetings industry in Bulgaria, through dedicated and strategic presentations on national and international markets, demonstrating its all geographical and facility assets across the country, and proving we have a lot to offer as a modern destination for sustainable international events.

The organisation's daily priorities:

-Facilitating cooperation and knowledge exchange in the meeting industry, as well as in education, commerce, and other sectors of the economy.
-Supporting the entire process from planning to execution of variations in size and category of events.
-Cooperating with government authorities and institutions and other branch associations to achieve our strategic aims, as well as support our members and further policy development.
-Promoting and encouraging the exchange of ideas and information, related to business tourism and the event industry, as well as sharing cultural and historical values.
