The Esztergom-Budapest Archdiocese Tourism Office awaits you with unique event venues of rich historical past as well as outstanding cultural and religious sites. The Tourism Office was founded in 2021 to bring together and to expose the Archdiocese's more than 1000 years old, rich historical, cultural and religious heritage. Providing a full range of services, the Tourism Office initiates, coordinates and manages all aspects concerning the development of MICE events within our destination.
Located in the historical district of Esztergom, surrounded by the Basilica and the Danube, our St. Adalbert Event Center can accommodate up to 800 people. With its unique properties and pleasant, classicist character, it provides a sophisticated venue for a wide spectrum of event types. For family events, weddings or corporate events, the Prímás Pince (Cardinal’s Cellar) just underneath the Basilica of Esztergom, with a capacity of nearly 400 people, is a great choice of location. The atmosphere of its spaces easily amazes visitors.
Close to the City Park in Budapest, in the elegant building of the D50 Hotel and Event Center, we welcome our guests with a 36-room hotel, a cosy cafe and several beautiful conference rooms equipped with modern facilities that can accommodate more than 350 people. Furthermore, an additional 350 sqm conference space will open in the spring of 2025.
In addition to our classic event venues, in unusual spaces - in the Panorama Café of the Esztergom Basilica, the Knight's Hall of the St. Stephen’s Basilica, the Gallery Hall of the Matthias Church, the exceptionally beautiful sub-church of St. Francis of Assisi Parish Church or the contemporarily designed St. László Community House and Pasaréti Community House in green, lush suburbs - we offer special, unique solutions for cultural programs, art events, lectures and wine tastings.
