Maribor Tourist Board is an official organization for promotion and marketing of tourism destination Maribor. It is a professional source of comprehensive information for B2B and B2C segments of users. We provide services, such as booking of wine tastings, guided tours in the city, and providing support in organizing MICE events, and are cooperating with key regional tourist partners. Maribor is the second largest city in Slovenia, and home of Guinness Record Holder, the World`s Oldest Vine. It is also awarded with titles such as European Capital of Culture 2012 and European City of Sport 2018. The charming old town is surrounded by the green forests of Pohorje, a sunny wine-growing region and the Drava River that runs through the city. In 2023 Maribor beat out plenty of competition to take 3rd place on the list of top European destinations in 2023, and it also took home the prize for top culinary destination.
