Conventa is a one-of-a-kind trade show that has been connecting the meetings industry for fifteen consecutive years. It gathers the most important players of the B2B MICE industry helping facilitate new business opportunities, networking, and knowledge sharing. The accompanying events, award ceremonies and entertainment shows are an important part of creating informal networking opportunities and have proven to be one of the best ways to meet potential clients.
For the past five years, Conventa has been partnering with Visual Europe Group, one of the largest Central European high-tech companies for AV technology and event production. Other than a mere supplier, Visual Europe is a multi-award-winning event and entertainment technology provider offering full-scale support throughout the project, from conceptualisation to implementation.
We still remember the unforgettable visual experience in Cukrarna at last year’s edition, where the interior of the great gallery was transformed into a polygon for video mapping, accompanying the program and musical performances. The special feature of the evening was the legendary Pac-Man game, which guests played directly on the surface of the central walls of the Cukrarna Gallery.
This year, the Meeting Star Award Ceremony showcased a dazzling light show in Gallus Hall. With help of modern technologies, the company raised the experience of the evening to a higher level and added an additional dimension to the event.
“We go above and beyond the event industry and deliver the know-how and experience acquired through projects in the creative and entertainment industries,” says Eva Celec, Country Manager of the Slovenian subsidiary. “Slovenia is an important regional centre of the meeting industry, where our solutions can complement and upgrade the existing offer on the market and improve the competitiveness of the entire event industry in Slovenia. Visual Europe is one of the few companies in this part of Europe that is technologically capable of supporting the most demanding A-production of events,” she adds.
Visual Europe Group has more than twenty years of experience in operating event venues and in designing and implementing custom digital and live events. They strive for continuous development and growth, incorporating fresh ideas and providing unique experiences backed up with top-notch technical equipment and support. By now, the company has successfully implemented nearly 7,500 projects in 27 countries. Last year, as part of the company’s expansion into the markets of the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovenia, the company also opened its headquarters in Slovenia. In all markets, they are developing a cooperation model based on a long-term strategic partnership with event organizers. The opening of a subsidiary office in Ljubljana deepened the partnership with Conventa founders, promising exciting events to happen also at the 16th edition of Conventa next year.
