Another extremely successful Conventa Trade Show is behind us, bringing 146 exhibitors from 16 different countries and 253 international meeting planners from 39 countries to Ljubljana. What happens at Conventa, doesn’t just stay at Conventa. New ideas, fresh knowledge and quality business contacts are spread and shared across the entire meetings industry of our New Europe region. Conventa’s social community is getting stronger each year and memories were shared through all social platforms.
Even if you weren’t able to join us at the 12th Conventa, we want to bring you in on the action. Here is everything that happened at Conventa 2020, along with a photo library, so you can brag about your attendance to your colleagues and friends.
What novelties did the 12th edition bring?
Entrance through the Conventa “Experience Zone”
We moved the trade show entrance, taking participants through an experience zone in Stebrna hall, where our partners, Visual Europe Group created a unique 3D mapping animation.
Caffe Piran
In cooperation with the Portorož Tourist Board, we opened a special pop-up coffee corner with a Mediterannean twist. Participants could see what work in the Sečovlje salt pans looks like, while sipping on some tasty coffee.
A refreshed Conventa Trend Bar concept
Trend Bar was moved to the foyer of Marmorna hall, where press conferences, presentations and exciting workshops took place. A bar with some of the best Slovenian gin and a DJ, who played old-school vinyls stood next to the Trend Bar.
Throwing axes and playing ping pong
Our friends at Axe Throwing Europe Sekiromet® think bowling is for pussies. That’s why they brought their axes and wooden targets to Conventa, where professional axe throwers taught Conventa participants how to properly and safely throw an axe. Participants could also wind-down by playing some ping pong in between meetings.
