Sustainable event and congress planning starts with mobility! Beginning May 1, 2025, all overnight guests across the entire Salzburg region will benefit from the new Guest Mobility Ticket. With this initiative, event organizers can offer their attendees an environmentally friendly way to travel while simplifying logistics and enhancing the overall event experience.
What is the Guest Mobility Ticket?
This ticket is a comprehensive pass for public transportation, allowing unlimited travel for event and meeting participants during their stay. It includes access to city and regional buses, S-Bahn trains, long-distance and regional rail services, as well as micro-mobility connections. In doing so, the ticket ensures sustainable, hassle-free transportation within Salzburg.
The Guest Mobility Ticket is financed through a mobility fee of €0.50 per night (increasing to €1.10 per night from May 1, 2027). This fee is added to the regular tourist tax, with all proceeds dedicated to improving public transport infrastructure.
