This year, Conventa will roll out several novelties: the X-Trip, a site visit across Ljubljana for PCOs and associations, the Conventa Campfire, an innovation area for destination presentations, and the Budapest Café, a themed area for coffee breaks.
Conventa, together with the Salzburg Convention Bureau and the EU CVB Network, will launch the first-ever Conventa 2025 X-Trip. The X-Trip has been carefully designed with association meeting planners in mind. It is an exclusive opportunity to discover Ljubljana’s finest venues and sustainable solutions firsthand. This tailored experience goes beyond the ordinary, offering unique insights into the city’s innovative infrastructure, exceptional hospitality, and commitment to environmentally responsible event planning.
Presenting undiscovered destinations at Conventa Campfire
Another novelty set to debut this year is the Conventa Campfire concept, where destinations will have the chance to present their novelties and sustainable activities in front of a group of hosted buyers. The Conventa Campfire is scheduled to take place in the afternoon on the last day of the event.
Historic Budapest coffee houses revived in Ljubljana
In partnership with the Budapest Convention Bureau, Conventa is set to unveil the Budapest Café, set to transport visitors back to the golden age of Austro-Hungarian Budapest by operating a traditional coffee house in Ljubljana. While many of these historic coffee houses faced challenges during the 20th century, several have been beautifully restored, allowing visitors to experience a glimpse of Budapest’s golden age. Budapest Café will evoke the spirit of the city’s historic cafés, renowned for their elegant ambience, intellectual discussions, and artistic flair. Just as in the past, envisaged by the creative team at the Budapest Convention Bureau, it will serve as a gathering place for industry professionals to network, exchange ideas, and enjoy a moment of respite amidst the bustling fair.
There are still some spots left to attend Conventa. Find out more here.
