Q: Can you tell us a bit about the story behind United Vibes of Travel?
Our company was founded by three long-time friends and hospitality professionals — Alexandra Schmidt, Katalin Moór, and Zsuzsanna Sarmon. We first met while working at the Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest, where a strong professional connection and personal friendship naturally developed. Even as our careers took us in different international directions, our shared values and passion for high-quality, authentic hospitality remained constant.
Q: What inspired you to establish United Vibes of Travel?
After more than a decade of experience in luxury hotels, international sales, and destination management, we recognised an opportunity to create a boutique DMC with a truly personalised approach. Our vision was to combine profound local insight with international standards, crafting tailor-made leisure, corporate, and MICE experiences that go far beyond conventional offerings.
Q: What defines your approach to MICE and destination management?
Our aim is for clients to look at our portfolio, be wowed by the hidden-gem destinations, and hear about them for the first time. We believe that successful events are not just well organised — they are emotionally engaging, authentic, and memorable. Our role is to connect the right venue with the right story and the right audience.
Q: Which destinations and properties are you showcasing at Conventa Ljubljana 2026?
This year, we are excited to attend with a focus on Bulgarian destinations. We are proudly representing Kazanlak Medical & SPA Hotel and Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia, two properties that reflect the depth, character, and variety of experiences the region offers — particularly for corporate travel, incentive programs, and tailor-made groups.

Q: You mentioned a sample itinerary — what can buyers expect from it?
To showcase how these properties can be part of a truly immersive East-European travel experience, we developed a sample multi-country itinerary that journeys from Western Hungary through Romania into Bulgaria. The itinerary weaves cultural discovery, historic immersion, and seamless logistics — travelling by plane for efficiency — and includes stops in places that capture the region’s richness, culminating in stays in Kazanlak and Millennium Sofia. This concept highlights how a deeper, more layered East-European experience can be crafted for incentive groups, executive travel, or bespoke MICE programs.
