Yes, Conventa Meet takes place in Ljubljana every year. Ljubljana has emerged as one of the most alluring mid-sized destinations for events in Central and Southeast Europe. We believe in creating synergies with the local communities, which is why we decided to develop the trade show together with the local stakeholders and industry players in Ljubljana and Slovenia.

Indeed, Conventa Meet has a rich and diverse additional programme, ranging from educational events to sustainability talks and exhibitions. On top of that, Conventa Meet hosts a live version of the Ljubljana Talks podcast every year, hosted by Gorazd Čad and Jan Oršič. The podcast series is dedicated to conversations with leading experts in the meetings industry.

We cover the costs of the logistics and accommodation for all selected hosted buyers. Suppliers cover their costs of travel and accommodation.

Conventa Meet is one of the first events on the calendar of the events industry, hosted in February in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Although February is typically cold in Ljubljana during this time, with temperatures ranging from 4°C to a low of -4°C, the winter days are often sunny and clear.

Conventa is organised by the Slovenian Convention Bureau and Toleranca marketing in partnership with Ljubljana Tourism, the Slovenian Tourist Board and over twenty strategic partners.
