November Gourmet Ljubljana returns to the Slovenian capital
The ninth November Gourmet Ljubljana runs in Ljubljana and nearby areas until November 30, 2025. Along with many culinary experiences, tastings, cooking classes, and workshops, this year’s festival includes the first Ljubljana Beer Trail, NovemBeer Gourmet Ljubljana, and talks with culinary writer Boštjan Napotnik and some of the city’s top chefs.
The festival will also feature a charity cooking show, Chef for Tomorrow, in which BIC Ljubljana students will attempt their own interpretations of the Tastes of Ljubljana and try to impress chefs Luka Jezeršek, Mojmir Šiftar, and Igor Jagodic, as well as judges from the audience.
NovemBeer Gourmet Ljubljana
The first Ljubljana beer trail, the NovemBeer Gourmet Ljubljana, will showcase the products of craft breweries from Ljubljana and its surroundings.
Spooning with the chefs
Culinary writer and presenter Boštjan Napotnik will host Ljubljana’s most recognisable chefs – Jorg Zupan, Igor Jagodic, Jakob Pintar, Mojmir Šiftar, and the Bratovž family in five November talk evenings. They will share interesting stories from their paths to success in their restaurants.
Charity cooking show Chef Up
On November 27, students from the Biotechnical Education Centre Ljubljana will compete in the cooking show Chef for Tomorrow by creating original interpretations of the Tastes of Ljubljana, with which they will try to impress chefs Luka Jezeršek, Mojmir Šiftar, and Igor Jagodic. The event participants will also be able to participate as judges in the selection of the most original dish.
The November Gourmet Ljubljana Festival brings together a broad variety of culinary content contributed by restaurants, bars, pubs, distilleries, and educational institutions from Ljubljana and its surroundings. With a varied program, it invites both locals and tourists to explore the gastronomic offer of the capital and its hinterland.
