Location and mobility recommendations
Main part of event will be held in Grand Hotel Union, Miklošičeva cesta 1, 1000 Ljubljana
Ljubljana is a very walkable city, so we encourage you to walk whenever it’s convenient. Transfers to the venues will be organised where needed and communicated through the Survival Guide.
The Conventa team will support you with flight ticket selection and the organisation of your transfers.
One2One meetings and important dates
As in previous years, we will use the B2Match platform for prescheduled meetings.
• Tuesday, 5 January – Instructions for creating your B2Match profile are sent
• Tuesday, 19 January – Deadline for creating B2Match profile, Hosted buyers will start sending invitations
• Tuesday, 26 January – Exhibitors can begin sending meeting invitations
• Tuesday, 2 February – Last day to book meetings with exhibitors

Conventa Experience Crawl
This year, we are introducing a new programme feature designed to help you create deeper, more meaningful interactions. Conventa Experience Crawl is an afternoon activity we designed to facilitate networking through unique experiences. It will take place on 10 and 11 February 2027, from 15:00 to 17:30 across six unique venues in the city centre of Ljubljana. Find more detiled instructions in our Survival Guide.

Setting up your stand and meeting with potential clients is no easy task. But we’re here to help. Feel free to reach out and learn all about becoming an exhibitor at Conventa.
How do you select the right buyers for each destination?
Together with the host destination and co-organisers, we select the hosted buyers that have the most potential for the destination. Our rigorous criteria guarantee that only the best hosted buyers partake in the event.
Is there any fee for attending as a hosted buyer?
The selected hosted buyers are expected to pay 75 eur of registration fee to secure their spot. We cover their transport and accommodation costs. Hosted buyers also have full access to networking events.
How many meetings must I schedule as a hosted buyer?
We suggest each hosted buyer schedule as many meetings as possible to maximise their networking opportunities and meet with the suppliers that interest them the most.
Is there an additional programme besides the fam trips?
Conventa is also renowned for its educational events - attendees joining Conventa Meet can attend sustainability educational events, exhibitions and hear from industry experts. Moreover, our evening receptions and networking luncheons present the perfect opportunity to connect with the participants.
Should I travel by plane, train or car?
Conventa was an early advocate of sustainable events. We encourage all attendees to use sustainable modes of transport to come to Ljubljana. Together with Planet Positive Event, we calculate the event’s carbon footprint and aspire to reduce it by championing the sustainable mobility of our attendees.
How early should I register for Conventa?
We advise that you register as early as possible to secure your spot. Our team will review your application and confirm your participation if you meet our criteria for attending.
Do hosted buyers get free accommodation?
Yes, we provide free accommodation for hosted buyers in our partner hotels around Ljubljana.
How do I schedule meetings with exhibitors?
Thanks to our B2B matchmaking platform, B2Match, you need not worry about scheduling meetings at the last moment. You can schedule all meetings with the suppliers that interest you most in advance. The platform will create a tailored agenda for you and help you navigate the show floor.
