What are the requirements to become a host destination?

Host destinations must become suppliers at Conventa Meet. We aim to establish partnerships with destinations that see value in creating synergies with the Conventa brand.

How do you select the right buyers for each destination?

Together with the host destination and co-organisers, we select the hosted buyers that have the most potential for the destination. Our rigorous criteria guarantee that only the best hosted buyers partake in the event.

How many local suppliers can participate in the event?

We limit the number of local suppliers to 25 to ensure the right balance between hosted buyers and suppliers.

Are local site visits organised by Conventa?

Local site visits are co-organised by the local tourism organisation and the Conventa team.

Do you promote the event on Conventa’s platforms?

Yes, we actively promote all Conventa Explore events on all platforms to ensure visibility and exposure. Our media team will ensure the event fosters media attention.

How do you select the host venue for the face-to-face meetings?

The host venue for the meetings is selected after careful consideration by the local co-organisers and the Conventa team. We trust that locals know their destination best and let them provide a selection of the most promising venues.
